Filming for our music video

My group and I just finished filming for our music video. Before we started filming we had a solid plan and schedule to ensure everything went smoothly. Everyone met up at my home. The first setting we filmed at was in my dad's car. We made sure my dad was there the whole time for safety measures. Any scenes where the car was moving, my dad was driving so we wouldn't get distracted. One tricky part of filming the car scenes were making sure the lighting was good. Since there are so many windows sometimes the lighting gets patchy. Luckily, we figured out how to adjust the lighting to make our footage look how we envisioned. After we filmed all of our car scenes, it was time to move onto the next setting.
The next setting we went to was the mall. We got to the mall around 1:30 and filmed there till 3:30. The first scene we shot was us entering the mall's main entrance doors. Using a tripod, the three of us were recorded together around the mall. For the next few scenes we went into a couple of stores. In the stores we filmed each other trying on jackets and laughing together. A cute addition for our music video is a choreographed dance to go with the chorus of the song. Filming in the stores was really fun because we got to record us being silly. There were no complications while filming any of the mall scenes. This part of filming was pretty enjoyable.
The last scene we filmed at was the beach. Originally, we were going to film a few scenes in our bedrooms however, we decided the conventions of this music video would be more accurate if we cut that scene out. The beach is walking distance from the mall so we walked over to the beach around 3:45. On the walk to the beach we got some footage. Once we were at the beach we set up everything and began filming. The first few scenes we shot were of my group mates and I sitting, relaxing at the beach listening to the song. Next, we shot a few scenes of us walking along the shore, directly next to the water. The last scene we shot was the dancing scene again. We did the same dance except this time, we were at a beach setting. Overall, filming went very well and we got all of the footage we needed to began the editing process.
